I had my first ever piano lesson with Richard Swan this week. I don’t consider myself a musical person, or to have a particularly good ear, so I wasn’t sure what to expect. However, as Richard said he would, (and much to my surprise), in less than an hour he had me playing chords with both hands.
Richard has a relaxed and informal approach to teaching, drawing on his pupils varied strengths and many different ways of understanding. I wasn’t bogged down with theory, but when asked, Richard delivered uncomplicated answers. He kept things simple and fun.
Richard is a brilliant teacher - patient, encouraging, and accomplished, with an obvious passion for music. If you’ve ever liked the idea of dabbling with the piano, go for it. Highly recommended!

Hestia Management Ltd - Solved our Bathroom Problems
I would like to strongly recommend Hestia Management Ltd.
My partner and I had an extremely bad experience with the contractor we had hired to do our bathroom refurbishment and we were unfortunately left with a half finished, botched job.
We then struggled to find a new contractor prepared to pick up where the previous one had left off or willing to make good any of his poor workmanship (partly due to guarantee issues).
