Just as you can't put a square peg into a round hole you'd be hard pushed to have the right creative on the payroll for every job that comes along.
It's expensive to have the wrong talent sitting idle. And not just for the agency. The downtime cost of most agencies ends up being reflected in the bill somewhere along the line.
We thought there must be a better way. And this is the best we've come up with so far - a creative collective of award winning designers, writers and film makers who come together for the duration of the project and disband at the end of it. We regroup as needed for different projects and come back together again to provide continuity for regular clients.
Without doubt, most good ideas are improved by a second opinion. And for over twenty years I've been fortunate enough to work with extremely talented individuals, who have either knocked the rough edges off my ideas, or allowed me to do the same to theirs. Certainly the really good stuff has always been the result of collaborative effort.
A few, like Piers Rutterford, I've worked with since my time at The Fine White Line. The association with Mark Andrews goes back to CDP. Others, such as Mike Reed and Nick Asbury, are more recent associates.
Our web site shows details of projects drawn from a body of work that encompasses corporate and brand identity programmes, literature systems, employee communications, packaging, direct mail, new product development, point of sale support and electronic media. Some of the pieces shown are very recent. Others, like the team itself, go back more than a decade.
